EUSAS Sustainability | Beach Clean

Each year our coastal communities brace themselves against the winter conditions that create a ‘Perfect Storm’ of plastic pollution on our beaches. By 2050 there is expected to be more plastic in the ocean than there is fish. We can prevent this!

EUSAS invites you to join us on a beach clean at Cramond, in collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage (SAS). We will be helping SAS to meet their targets of reducing marine litter from the UK coastline by 50% by 2020. Come along for an afternoon of fun on both Cramond mainland and Island beaches to keep our Edinburgh coastline clean and beautiful!

We will provide gloves and bags but please remember to wear warm clothes! We'll meet at the flagpole next to Cramond Causeway and will finish the clean with a social event at a nearby pub / cafe.
